Hadith on Prayer: Aisha finds the Prophet praying at night

February 19, 2017

Aisha reported: One night I missed the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and I imagined that he had gone to some of his other wives. I search for him and returned only to find him bowing and prostrating in prayer and saying, “Glory be to you and your praise, there is no God but you.” I said, “May my father and mother be sacrificed for you! I imagine something, yet you were doing something else!”
