Al-Qurtubi reported: Ibn Mas’ud, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “Do not say: O Allah, fortify me from trials! Indeed, not one of you returns to his family and children but that it is included among the trials. Rather, say: O Allah, I seek refuge in you from trials of misguidance!”
