Hadith on Ease: Allah does not need unnecessary hardship

Anas reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saw an old man being supported by his two sons. The Prophet said, “What is wrong with this man?” They said, “He has made a vow to walk to the Ka’bah.” The Prophet said, “Verily, Allah does not need this man to punish himself,” and he ordered him to ride an animal.

عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى شَيْخًا يُهَادَى بَيْنَ ابْنَيْهِ فَقَالَ مَا بَالُ هَذَا قَالُوا نَذَرَ أَنْ يَمْشِيَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَنْ تَعْذِيبِ هَذَا نَفْسَهُ لَغَنِيٌّ وَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَرْكَبَ
